Vanilla cupcakes recipe

Ingredients:
All-purpose flour 150 grams
Baking soda 1 gram
Baking powder 2 grams
Butter 150 grams
Eggs 3
Sugar 130 grams
Pure Vanilla extract 1 1/2 tsp
Line the cupcake tray with cupcake liners
Batter preparation:
Step 1:
– Add all purpose flour, baking soda & baking powder in a bowl, stir in together & keep it aside (baking powder & baking soda makes the cake lighter & fluffier)
Step 2:
– Add Butter, sugar, vanilla extract to another bowl & whisk them together using a mixer
– To the same bowl add the eggs one at a time and whisk them with a mixer
Step 3:
– Using a strainer add the flour from step 1 in 3 batches to the wet mixture in Step 2 and mix it together using a spatula
– Do not over mix it
At this point preheat the oven to 350°C
Step 4:
Scoop the batter and fill 2/3 of the cup in the cupcake tray
Put the cupcake tray in the oven for about 20 minutes. Each oven is different, I did 10 minutes at 200°C & 10 mins at 270°C
If it’s your first time it’s good to keep checking every 5 minutes
Once they go brown on top then you know it’s done. I used a toothpick to check if they are done (stick the toothpick to the center of the cupcake, if it comes out clean then it’s done).
Take them out of the oven & leave them for 5 minutes before transferring them
12 delicious vanilla cupcakes you can decorate them using icing or whatever you like.
